Event Details

What:  Sacramento International Airport Big Build Program

Guest speaker John Mares, AIA, NCARB (Corgan Associates, Inc.) will present an update on this exciting expansion to the Sacramento International Airport.  John is a California native, commercial pilot and aviation enthusiast who has been involved with aviation and airports his entire life.  He's a Cal Poly graduate who has worked for over 20 years designing projects at airports throughout the Golden State.  For the past three years, John has served as the Landside Design Manager on the Sacramento International Airport's Big Build Program.  John's presentation will highlight the following:

  • A Program Overview
  • The Design-Build Process Employed
  • A Snapshot of Design Challenges
  • Status of Construction

 When:  Tuesday, April 26th

Social hour begins at 11:30 AM.  Lunched served at 12 noon.

 

Where:  The Radisson Hotel (see map at right)

  

Menu:

Chicken Piccata - Tender breast of chicken w/capers, lemon, parseley in white wine sauce.  Served w/dried cranberry rice pilaf.

Veggie Option:  Pasta Puttanesca - Bow tie pasta finished w/pepperoncinis, capers, cherry peppers, chili flakes and Marinara sauce.

*All Entrees include salad, seasonal vegetables, rolls & butter, dessert, Starbucks coffee, Decaf coffee, Hot & Iced Tea
